  • In 1971, Douglas Warner formed 1000 Graphics with two graphic artists to provide renderings, illustrations, signs, displays and brochures to Southeast Michigan homebuilders. In 1990, the company evolved into Communication Associates to reflect the agency’s expanded business lines and growth.

As many of Communication Associates’ long-standing midwestern clients broadened their horizons to other regions, the agency has continued to deploy more of its resources to those markets. Now with operations in Michigan, Colorado and Florida, the agency billings in the west and southeast regions of the country are steadily growing with Arizona, Texas and the Carolinas also showing potential for additional offices.
Although the agency’s core business is the real estate sector, Communication Associates’ client base is widely diversified to include financial services, risk management, healthcare, legal services, education, retail, and the hospitality industries.
